Unemployment Insurance Reminder for NY Employers

April 28, 2020 NYS DOL sent out an email reminding employers of their responsibilities related to the unemployment insurance benefits application. All NY employers are required to provide certain information to departing employees – including those who are furloughed, laid-off, or received a reduction in working hours.

You may use Form IA 12.3 to provide this information to your employees.

You also may find the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Fact Sheet helpful during this time.
