Deerfield, IL (July 11, 2019) – Austin & Co., Inc., (Austin & Co.), announced that they have joined Alera Group, a leading national insurance firm, effective July 1, 2019. The acquisition enhances Austin & Co.’s employee benefits and property & casualty expertise, giving them further resources to serve the local community. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alera Group was formed in early 2017 and is made up of more than 70 independent benefit and insurance companies focused on employee benefits, property and casualty, risk management and wealth management. Alera Group is one of the nation’s foremost independent insurance agencies and privately-held employee benefits firms. The company’s corporate office is located in Deerfield, IL, with member firms and locations throughout the United States.
